Ziplip does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Ziplip is a nicotine pouch tracking app designed to help you monitor and reduce your usage. Your privacy is foundational to how the app is built — not an afterthought.
This policy describes what data Ziplip does and does not handle.
Ziplip does not collect, store, or transmit:
There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no servers that receive your data.
All data you enter — pouch logs, daily limits, goals, and settings — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults / SwiftData).
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use iOS backup features (iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup), which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
This feature is opt-in. Your data is only sent if you explicitly choose to use it.
Ziplip includes an optional "Roast My Stats" feature that analyzes your usage log. If you choose to use this feature, your pouch log is exported as a .csv file and sent to a third-party AI service (Claude by Anthropic) for analysis.
When this feature is used:
If you do not use the Roast / Analyze feature, no data is ever transmitted off your device.
Aside from the optional AI analysis feature described above, Ziplip does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No data is shared with any third party.
Ziplip is not directed at children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected, there is no risk of collecting data from minors.
If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revisions.
